Welcome to Serendipity Yoga

Yoga is right for everyone, young and old alike. If you find yourself physically, emotionally or spiritually challenged, yoga can meet you where you are at and take you where you want to go! There are many, many styles of Hatha yoga; for instance there is Ashtanga Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and so on. The Sanskrit word "hatha" refers to the physical practice of yoga. It’s two component syllables, ha and tha literally translate into "sun" and "moon". Thus through the mindful practice of yoga asanas one is able to balance or blend the "sun and moon" energies that exist in every human being. Through the practice of yoga, you can enable yourself to join together your body, mind and spirit as one. Resting in the bliss of your own inner awareness of yourself, tapping into that river of consciousness that flows in all human beings, one is able to track their own awareness all the way to its source and go beyond the mind. The truest adventure lies within you!

Our Mission

Serendipity Yoga was created and is committed to bring yoga to everyone in all walks of life and all levels of ability. Our goal is to provide practical tools that not only enable you to live a healthier life, but a higher quality life, a life that is full of the richness of “just being” in the present moment free to experience life and all it has to offer. We want to inspire, motivate and educate.

About Svaroopa Yoga

This style of yoga is uniquely different from other Hatha Yoga practices. Svaroopa Yoga opens the door to your inner dimension of consciousness. It works to effectively relax the body, calm the mind and allows you to reach through your mind into the inner dimensions of your true nature that is bliss. Your sense of awareness is heightened as your body opens and you become more comfortable in your body as all of your aches and pains on every level begin to dissolve with each asana (posture). This is a very healing style of yoga and even if you only practice twice a week, its profound benefits are long-lasting and stay with you for days.
Many have come to this style of yoga because other styles are too demanding and place a lot of strain on the back. In ancient days a yoga practice was begun basically from an early age. Because of this the more advanced “pretzel” poses were easily performed. For the present day average beginner, it is a challenge that may result in injury. Svaroopaâ Yoga offers all the benefits of an advanced practice without the difficulty. You will notice a profound difference in your physical/mental/spiritual being even in your very first session. All levels of yoga practitioners can easily practice this style of yoga.
