Each
day we will have a new adventure as we tour areas nearby.
Together we will explore the medieval monuments of Les
Baux, the markets of Provence, visit the famous Pont
du Gard and taste the splendid wines of the region.
Some of our evenings will be rich in savory memories
as we explore the best gastronomic restaurants of the
region, and when we come together for three hands-on
cooking classes of Provencale specialties we will experience
the joy of cooking with a very skilled and charming
gourmet chef. You will also have time to relax, explore
the ancient city of Arles on your own, and to rejuvenate
your soul with meditation and quiet in our group yoga
classes, guided meditations and relaxations.
Your
yoga vacation will include:
* 10 nights' accommodations (all accommodations are
double occupancy)
* Breakfast or brunch daily and 7 gourmet dinners

* Hiking in Les Alpines (the little Alps)

About
Angelina Calafiore, CMT, CYT
Angelina is an inspired and talented instructor. She is passionate
about yoga and infuses her classes with yoga philosophy and
thought provoking contemplations at the end of every class.
She has a powerful ability to inspire her students to look
for their potential, while challenging and nurturing their
process in a fun and safe environment. Being mindful and attentive
during practice so that her students learn to feel one with
their actions is also of great importance to her. Angelina
instructs with the aim of guiding her students in their own
process, so over time, they can develop a finer sensitivity
to the more subtle movements in their bodies and minds. In
her view, the teacher becomes the key to open here-to-fore
locked doors and each student is allowed an opening to explore
his or her own inner dimensions. In order to create an inspired
synchronicity within the class, she encourages her students
to be mindful and present. “A consistent yoga practice
teaches us how to be mindful and absorbed in the present moment,
which consequently naturally slows down the ‘mental
chatter’ of the mind. This in turn not only has a direct
effect on our mental status but also improves our physical
health and wellbeing as a result of a mind that is at ease
and calm.”
Angelina is so passionate about yoga that she has created
experiential yoga presentations for corporations and organizations
across America. Most notably she has presented breakout sessions
and keynote speeches for companies such as The Society for
Human Resource Management, The International Personnel Management
Association, The California Women’s Conference and the
Amputee Coalition of America.
